Welcome to my first screen saver. Please read this entire document.

You will need a program to view or unzip the screen.zip file. Some good suggestions are Wiznip and/or PKzip. Both do a good job and are available
on the Internet.

Methods of installation:

This screen saver is provided freely and without cost and support. USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
If you have never done this type of installation before, please read this entire document. If that doesn't help, either have someone with experience help you or don't try it

Option One:

Unzip the files contained in this zipped file. You should create
a temporary folder on your computer into which to unzip them. Then, run the program file: Setup.exe. Once this occurs, you will the asked where to install the screen saver. You should probably enter: C:\windows (if this is the location of your Windows directory).

Option Two:

Some programs that unzip files will allow you to run the Setup.exe program file by just clicking on it from within the zipped file (Winzip for example). Click on: Setup.exe. Image sources and other information . . .

Images come from a document produced by the old New Haven Railroad reproduced on our web site (with permission - see web site for details). http://www.geocities.com/dave_laroche

It is our hope that these images can provide some historical insight to the Great Hurricane of 1938 and how the New Haven Railroad delt with its devastation. More images are on the web site for your perusal.

Screen saver produced with Neobook (http://www.neosoftware.com). It is an attempt to practice using this software where I teach some more advanced students in our Introduction to Computers course.

Hope you like it.
