An English colleague, speaking about French Women is used to say that "they spend a lot of money to make decent something mediocre".
He is ABSOLUTELY wrong. French Women are among the finest women on Earth.
Skinny, tall, classy, nice-looking, nice speaking (lovely French Accent), French Women are really above average in Europe.
You will be surprised to see how many nice girls you will find while walking on the streets of Paris, some of them dressed to kill and smiling at you just for the pleasure of driving you mad, nothing else.

Chasing Girls in Paris
If you really want to chase a French girl, do it like you were in your home Country, there's no practical difference.
Pay only attention to the fact that a French girl is normally open, provocative and smiling even if she has not at all in mind sex with you; thus be careful because you may really misunderstand everything and finish your evening sad and alone.

There are several ways to pick up girls in France in the "standard" way

• you walk around the Champs Elysees or Les Halles, having a drink from 6 pm in one of the hundreds bistros, aiming the targets and shooting your best shots. Please avoid "I am sorry, I am stranger, I am lost".

If you don't have enough time to spend and you want to go faster there are several layers in a ladder that you may want to climb

Layer 1 - Bird Watching

You may for instance want to see one of Paris famous shows, just to verify at a certain distance how beatiful the French girls are. If you are with your wife go to the Lido, the Moulin Rouge or the Paradis Latin, and see an Hollywood-style show with topless ballets (that will cost you a fortune multiplied by two). If you are alone you cannot miss the Crazy Horse. It's only striptease, but it's outstanding, first class, and you will never forget the highlights.
Another interesting bar in which you may know interesting people of the opposite sex is the "American Dream", that is offering, among the other things, a nice lap-dance show.

Layer 2 - Walking around

There are two main sex areas in Paris, one is Pigalle, the other is Rue St. Denis (Les Halles). Generally speaking you may have a walk in both of them, but I would avoid to spend any money in one of the hundred sexy-show/shop over there.

In Rue St. Denis you will find a high concentration of sexy shops, offering any kind of tools to satisfy your needs and also "private" shows that are basically a waste of time and money. Theoretically you normally may choose from a catalog of beautiful girls and pay some special services starting from around 200ff. Normally the girl you have chosen is never available and the one that is coming is her ugly sister. Depending on how much money you invested she will use the time you paid to grab you more money promising you more special services, etc. It's a waste of time.
In St. Denis anyway try the Club 88, that is not badly managed, expecially for the peep-show. Close to the end of Rue St. Denis from Les Halles you will find two parallel rows of nice ladies waiting for you.
The problem is that the average age is that of your mother.

In Pigalle the highest concentration is for sexy shows. Normally there are people outside these sleezy bars, speaking a dozen languages and inviting you inside showing you photos of supposed live-act that even a porno magazine would refuse to publish. If you decide to go in you normally find sleezy girls doing a sleezy and normal striptease. While seated, a dozen of other sleezy girls will try to make you spend a fortune in the usual Champagne Bottle, promising things that will never happen unless you multiply by 5 the cost of the champagne. Just like the Night Club at home.
