| 6/28/2003 - My first blog entry - aren't you proud Sarah! Now you can mock my every thought! I don't really have much to say today, I'm pretty excited I figured out how to add text to my page, and I think that is enough for one day. I will try to be more interesting in the future. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| 6/30/2003 - Saturday night I went to the Cincinnati Opera with Shannon and her cousin, the performance included three short operas instead of one long one. It was interesting, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if it had been just one story. Sunday Shannon and I went to the Greek festival in Cincinnati, the greek pizza was delicious! All in all it was a rare active weekend for me. Called my sister Sunday morning, her husband Joe told me she was in the shower and she NEVER called me back! It's fun to shame your family in your weblog :-) I must have slept wrong last night because now my neck hurts. Anyway, my friend Kathleen from work surprised me the other day with the most unexpected thing - an autographed picture of Keifer Sutherland! Her sister worked on 24 and I was always telling Kathleen how much I enjoyed the show so she had her sister get the autograph for me - I just thought that was so thoughful of her. I really can't think of anything else right now. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| 7/2/2003 - Monday night at softball I learned why they always say stretching is important. On my first hit I was running to first and pulled a muscle in my thigh - now I have a pretty high tolerance for pain and let me tell you - this was painful! But of course I played the rest of the game, after a long soak in the tub Monday night it felt better yesterday. Today for some reason it has gone from mild discomfort to slightly painful, (I don't know what that would be on the Sarah Misery Index - but since she's weak I'm guessing it would be a 9 or 10 - let the Flame War begin!) and I have decided not to go to water aerobics tonight even though I really want to but now I'm afraid it would do more harm than good. My neck still hurts from sleeping on it wrong on Sunday night and I am convinced that at 30, my body is slowly falling apart. I think that's all for today. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| 7/11/2003 - I haven't been very good at putting my every boring thought into my blog and I apologize for that. Nothing very exciting ever happens to me so I don't have a lot to write about. I went home to Toledo over the holiday weekend, it was nice to see my family, my niece Audrey is getting so big, it's no wonder, she never stops eating, of course she also never stops moving either. Shannon came with me and we went up to Windsor and did some shopping, I of course had to buy some Smarties - my all time favorite candy - not the smarties you get in America, these are the european version of the M&M made by Nestle. I managed to get a few good deals at the mall as well. I didn't get hassled at the border like some people - Shannon and Sarah, or almost get killed coming back from Canada. I was very amused by the written SARS warning we were given on the way into Canada, unfortunately I can't find it now, I have had a bit of a cough since returning and I wanted to hang the warning in my cube to scare people away. All in all it was a pretty uneventful weekend. I suppose I should write about the Audio Visual guy at work that I have a crush on, who now knows I have a crush on him which is so embarassing. I finally saw him yesterday and said Hi - that's all I have for moves so I'm in some serious trouble! I have no idea what my next move should be, starting a conversation sounds easy until you try to do it. I'm hopeless when it comes to boys - this is the one area of my life were I have failed to "work the dream" :-) More Blog thoughts....... |
