Building a Frame
I'm no pro, anything you do to your bike is your thing.  I am just showing what I am doing.  I could crash and burn, that being said lets get on to the project.

Registering a bike in NY is a p.i.t.a, if it doesn't already have a title forget it.  Therefore I have retained the original neck to go with the title I have.  I started by cutting off the parts I didn't care for.  That pretty much left the rear swingarm, swing arm pivot and engine mounts.  From there I started cutting and bending tubing.  I used .120" wall hot roled steel.  My lower tubes are 1 inch the backbone is 1.5".  I started at the back in order to keep things straight on the way to the front.  I tacked everything together to check squareness and fit.  This led to remaking a couple tubes and realigning but thats why I tacked it up. I suggest putting a gusset in at the neck.  I put one in but dont have a picture yet.
