Something to consider when using a fuel injected engine is what to do with the return fuel lines. The stock fuel system in a CH701 does not provide for return fuel since the engine in the plans is naturally aspirated. So if you want to use a fuel injected system, the fuel tanks will have to be modified and you get to do whatever you like. Some people are using a small header tank, but I think venting will present a problem. I went a different way and had both tanks modified and will use the system I have drawn above. Don't get me wrong there are many ways to solve this problem, but I want to use the least amount of parts. Everyone keep your fingers crossed. I will present my results late spring or early summer 2005. One other thing, if someone has a system on a CH701 that is already working let me know. |
