Ms. Margaret Ostergren

I have never met another woman who can put up with such unbelievable situations caused by her sons and their friends - myself included, although I do my share.

Margaret, a native to New Zealand, is fond of gardening - and let me tell you, it has always been one incredible garden - sometimes 2 or 3. She often grows all sorts of tomatoes (pronounced toe mah toes), green peppers, butternut and acorn squash, string beans, all sorts of herbs (basil pronounced bazil) and flowers, strawberries, and other fresh goodies.

She will never wear jeans nor chew gum (these are not things ladies do). Margaret listens to Rod Stuart to Savage Garden but will put up with almost anything the boys listen to with the exception of Marilyn Manson.

Margaret goes swimming on a daily basis whether it be in the ocean or indoor pool and still finds time to go to Ft. Dixx to do some heavy duty shopping.

Few moms are as cool as her - yet she knows when to draw the line (No Vat inside the house) - it's just too bad the youngin's rarely listen. Although they are getting better - I think.
