Session: 7 Date:7/16/02
Elementals
Our heros decided it was time to bring an end to VIPER's activities in MegaCity. As a result they decided to boat out to Perry's Island where an alleged VIPER training Camp was operating. In route the party encounted a little problem. A group known as the elementals attacked the ferry they were travelling on. WindStorm(the leader of the villain group) caused major havoc, but in the end the party turned back the elementals and managed to capture one of them. Unfortunately the ferry was destroyed and many civilains were injured and a few were killed. Next time the party will reach the island and hopefully learn VIPER's plan.
Session: 6 Date:6/16/02
VIPER
The group decided to investigate the local VIPER warehouse to see if they could determine what the weapons were for. Using the mental powers of Kwin, the party discovered the weapons were to be turned over tonight to an unknown group of people. The party decided to intervene. The group took up positions across the street from the warehouse and waited. Around 10, a convoy of Essays showed up to pick up the weapons. Again Kwin attempted to learn info with his mental powers. After learning the info, he tried to persuade the Essays into fighting with VIPER. That turned bad, VIPER obviously detected Kwin's actions and began an assault on the party. The Essays got caught in the mist. A climatic battle ensued, leaving 2 of the Essays including the local leader dead, and 2 more hospitalized. About 6 VIPER agents were captured, but the main group of VIPER agents, the majority of the weapons, and the leader of this group fled. What will the group do next time to become an even large pain in the Snake's back

VIPER
Orb and Balrog decided to go out on patrol. Kwin was busy checking up on the police from yesterday's Disaster Crew encounter and Uuber was-- well who knows. Balrog decides to check out the local wharf to see if any further shipments problems exist. It paid off. Balrog and Orb encountered a VIPER 5 man team unloading some heavy weaponry. Of course a fight ensued and Uuber arrived just in time to help make sure the team got a victory for once. The team also learned of a VIPER training center on Perry's Island and that the weaponry was being transported to a local warehouse near the center of town. The agents that were captured went on to speculate the VIPER intended on recuiting some of the local gangs by bribing them with heavy laser weaponry. Next time the foursome may have their hands full with the Snakes...

The Disaster Crew
Well, our friends learned that the airport shipment was legit or at least it looked that way -- they actually lost the truck. Meanwhile back at the apartment the group learned of another reign of crime. Jewelry thieves were apparently using major diversions to sweep through an area of the city. After some investigative work the party deducted that the group hung out at the Day's Dam Park near the center of the city. The party discovered JackHammer here and learned of a scheme to pull of a big heist. The party managed to arrive on the scene of the heist in time, but unfortunately they were spread to thin to help defeat the Crew. Orb was taken out by Shade - Darkness happened to be Orb's weakness. Cat Burgalar got away scott free. Jackhammer and Diablo had a tough time escaping Uuber and Kwin, but with the Tidal Wave from Day's Dam the get away was complete. Shadow Boxer didnt get the jewels, but made a clean get away. Balrog would have chased but the cries for help snapped him from his rage. Join us next time as the group tries to figure out what is going on.

The Shipments, The dump, Los Nuevos Asesinos
Our friends regroup at Orb's apartment(anyone thinking spider friends lair?) where they question Uuber and actually get through his poor hearing and even worse his lack of fluent English. After some investigating the group learns the Pack has been involved in local drug related deaths over the past few months -- with growing serverity. They also learn more "VIPER" weaponry is headed to the area. The weaponry is actually coming in under a legal defense contractor from South America. The party investigates the first shipment only to learn it had been rerouted due to the recent problems in MegaCity. The second shipment wasnt due in until later the next day so the group decided to scope the area. This of course lead to the VIPER planned attck by Los Neuvos Asesinos -- Vampiro, El Montana, El Chico, and El Muerto Obscuro. The ensuing fight quickly got out of hand since the Assassins surprised the group. Vampiro left the scene since he figured Kid and Death could handle it as long as Montana continued to slow the group. Slowly, the group fought back into the battle - a few well placed drains removed the threat of Montana and allowed the 4 to double up on Death and Kid. As las, the Neuvos Asesinos had a magical escape plan, but they did spill the VIPER name. The group also found evidence of the VIPER shipment - Turtle armor. Join us next time as the group tries to piece everything together - VIPER, the Pack, drugs... what's next.

The Docks, the Pack, and the Amigo
We find our friends at the shipyard attemting to gain information about tonight's supposed ship raid. After much toying with mind powers to learn little useful information from a daytime shack gaurd, Orb offers up his skills as a computer thief. By breaking into the ship's log file, the new found hero team is able to discover three main boats from the same area arrived or will be arriving this week. The boats are have hitech cargos. The most likely candidate being the one arriving tonight at 9:30PM. The heros decide to get to the docks around 8 and setup. Kwin attempts to gain access through the same gaurd gate, but finds it more tightly secured. Orb stakes out the area from a nearby hirise. Balrog meanwhile swoops over the Northern side of the wharf. Its about 8:30 when things begin to happen, the Pack arrives on the scene crashing the gates(timed perfectly so the gaurds are at the far ends of the wharf, Mongrel already has it planned that the entire operation should take 3 minutes -- and the boat of choice had been in the harbor since Monday. The Amigo had been well scoped by the Pack.) Unfortuantely for them, Balrog notices the crash. He doesnt see Moondog or Rottwieller slip out toward the Amigo. He moves in to investigate. Opps! Mongrel spots him and begins to train the 57 cal on him. Of Course Balrog moves out of the back arc, forcing Mongrel to use the image trick. Balrog believes the diversion and flies off toward Orb -- right into line of sight of Mongrel's silenced and muzzled m-60 -- blam, blam , blam... The big bird begins to fall. Almost instantly another adversary HellHound appears and Balrog crashes to the dock floor. Instantly Orb and Kwin spring into action. Lucky for Balrog he's tough. Things proceed rapidly... Balrog flips the van before Doberman(the driver) can use any of its weapons. Mongrel makes for the boat Leaving HellHound and Moondog to take care of the threat. Kwin and Orb arrive and its soon 3 on 3 action. The heros proving to be just 1 step better than the dark champion counterparts. Meanwhile on the ship, RottWieller makes his way to the hull(obviously looking for the cargo hold) Unbeknowning to both parties -- the uuber was living there -- uuber is our noname character (the 2 headed, 1 armed leech) Uuber doesnt like being disturbed and likes the fact that Rottwieller just snapped a guy in 2 even less. Outside the fight beings to go well for the heros -- Hellhound goes down, Balrog is holding his own against moondog again because he's tough and recovers well. And Kwin has managed to avoid doberman. A mind trick forces Doberman away from Kwin, but by this time Mongrel has completed his task and has moved in to help the now weakened and bound Rottwieller. Uuber manages to dodge the spray of bullets and is able to wrap up Mongrel. Nothing his knife can handle though. Mongrel sensing these gadgets aren't that important calls for escape 2(blow the damn thing up) He tosses a gernade into the weapon crates and flees with Rottwieller... uuber not understanding much english gets caught in the explosion -- and sent into the river. Outside the pack begins its retreat. Doberman covers Moondog with Napalm rockets from the now upright battle van. Orb had to pull Hellhound from the river after knocking him unconscious. Unfortunately, that allowed Moondog to get over there and rescue Hellhound -- slight presence affect backed Orb away for a second. And in a flash -- the Pack was gone. Quickly, Kwin moved on to the boat to look for survivors -- gunshots had been heard as Mongrel made short work of the crew. Balrog had over heard the radio com from Mongrel and warned of the bomb! At about that time Kwin and Orb heard the electronic countdown -- Beep, Beep, Beep! Jump!!! Balrog noticed the floating body and swooped down to save it as the boat exploded--- taking half the dock with it! Guys... You remember how to find my apartment -- meet there... called Orb as he disappeared into the night -- Sirens could be heard in the distance. Join us next time as we find out who or what the Uuber is!
Session: 1 Date:5/24/02
Getting together
Well the final 2 members of the team were created and they consist of Orb - a quick character who creates ball of light that can do some amasing things and noname the 2 headed, horribly scarred alien with a knack for weakening others. Noname didnt play this episode so he's still considered a freelancer. The others however finally meet and so far we actually have a hero team. The session started off with Kwin and Balrog pursuing Kwin's prey - an alien monster known as the Reorx. The pursuit took the two to the local authorites where Kwin used his powers to find out some details of alien sightings and the mysterious explosion that brought Balrog into his life only a few weeks ago. He learned that VIPER may have been behind the explosion and the 2 were off looking for leads... Meanwhile, Orb was out on his friendly neighborhood patrol(having been a hero for about 3 months now) Orb spotted the strange little green man(Kwin) and decided to follow. As luck would have it the 2 decided to go into a local bar(one Orb knew to be a hangout of local street tuffs) Orb sat in the back and watched as the 2 bumbling detectives learned of a weapons deal. A local gang was going to attempt to hijack a shipment of hitech weaponry at the docks, but first the gang was going to do something tonight to make sure their attempt went well. Kwin and Balrog(in human form of course) decided to follow the tuffs. Unfortunately the Shadowing didnt go well, Orb tripped on a garbage can and drew Balrog and Kwin's attention - which of course allowed the tuffs to make a break for it. Not happy with losing a possible lead mr. galactic cop - Kwin decided to chase after Orb. After a mild encounter with each other, a near revealance of a secret id (Balrog assumed Demon form unknowingly in front of Orb), and the noise of gun shots. This snaps Orb in to action and the others follow suit. After a short 8 phase battle with a few gangsters the party flees the scene. Some local law enforcement showed up and told Kwin his galactic powers had been revoked. Needless to say the party later figured out the police were probably corrupt or fake. After meeting back at Orb's place and relaxing for the night, the party went out to investigate the shipyards. -- But that is a story for next time.

Character Creation
Currently our team consists of Balrog - a genetically altered human with a dark side. He has the ability turn himself into a demon like creature. Basically he's a brick who flys and when he gets mad -- look out. We also have Kwin a member of the galactic Qwin Knights -- basically he was designed after viewing espiode II of star wars -- and lets just say Yoda will have a run for his money. We should have 2 other players by the time the campaign starts this thursday.
