Scholarship Excellence
This
award recognizes the chapter that has the highest grade point average.
Most Improved Scholarship
This
award recognizes the chapter that shows the most improvement between the first
year of the biennium and the second year of the biennium.
Outstanding Campus Scholarship
This
award recognizes the chapters that have the highest grade point average among
all women’s Panhellenic groups on their
campus.
Administrative Excellence
This
award recognizes the chapters that consistently accept the responsibility of
meeting required deadlines for reports, financial obligations, and other
obligations required by Delta Gamma Fraternity and have an updated and
functioning website.
Spirit of Sisterhood (Collumnae Programming)
This
award recognizes the chapter that initiates the most creative and successful
activities with the alumnae in their area.
Innovative New Member
Pursuit Plan
This award recognizes the chapters that exhibit a well rounded new
member program reflecting: New Member Pursuit Plan and Inspiration/Initiation
Outlines that are completed on time, weekly
activities that are innovative and creative, Bid Day and Big Sis/ Lil' Sis
Revealing are creative and well executed, and a chapter that involves all
members of the chapter in unique ways to help educate and inform new members.
Living the Rituals
This award recognizes chapters that complete their Initiation/Inspiration
Outline on time, monthly formal chapter
meetings are conducted with appropriate rituals, and informal rituals are
innovative, creative, and on-going throughout the year.
Excellence in Programming
This
award recognizes the chapter whose programming is designed to cover all aspects
of Article II, Objects of the Fraternity,
as outlined in the Delta Gamma Constitution.
The objects are: friendship,
educational and cultural interests, social responsibility and character.
Foundation Fund Raising Award
This
award recognizes the chapter that sponsors a successful fund raiser with
100% of the proceeds earmarked for the Delta Gamma Foundation. (The recipient of this award will be
determined by dividing the amount of money raised by the number of chapter
members.)
Bronze Recruitment Awards
This
award recognizes all Region 5 chapters that achieve both quota and total during
the recruitment period.
Pink Recruitment Awards
This
award recognizes all Region 5 chapters that achieve total during the
recruitment period.
Blue Recruitment Awards
This
award recognizes all Region 5 chapters that achieve quota during the
recruitment period.
Financial Excellence Award
This
award recognizes chapters who meet all financial responsibilities in a timely
manner: monthly reports submitted on time, budgets submitted by due date, dues
ands fees contracts filed with EO, signed room contracts submitted to House
Corporation (if applicable), receivables secured to allowable limit and
expenses limited to within 5% of their budgeted income.
Spirit of Region 5 Award/Outstanding Chapter Award
This
award recognizes the chapter that is fiscally fit, files their reports and
collegiate master calendars in a timely manner, has well-rounded programming,
fulfils their recruitment quota and strives to reach total, schedules collumnae
events, and has good membership participation and Foundation involvement. The
recipient chapters must also exhibit the true meaning of sisterhood. A chapter
must have applied for the Patricia Peterson Danielson Award to be eligible for
this award.
