REGION 5 ALUMNAE GROUP AWARDS
Innovative Foundation Initiative
This
award recognizes the groups that sponsor a successful new fund raiser with
strong support and involvement from the members of the group, and involvement
from those in the community because of creative public relations for the event.
Membership Excellence
This
award recognizes one alumnae association and one alumnae chapter in the region
that has used creative recruitment and communication techniques to maintain, or
increase, the growth of the group.
Excellence in Programming
This
award recognizes the groups whose programming meets the needs of all life
stages, and whose calendar of events is informative and communicates an
exciting year has been planned. If
organized interest groups are part of the programming, extra credit will be
given.
Spirit of Region 5 Award
(All Around Alumnae Group by Division)
This
award recognizes the groups that are fiscally fit, file their reports and
alumnae master calendar in a timely manner, have well-rounded programming,
schedule collumnae events, and have great communication with their alumnae
through a newsletter, email follow-ups, a phone tree and postcards. They must also have a high percentage of dues
paying members, good membership participation at events and Foundation
involvement.
Spirit of Sisterhood (Collumnae Programming)
This
award recognizes the groups that have outstanding planned activities with one
or more collegiate chapters, and who also provide advisers and house
corporation board members for the chapter(s).
They must also give continuous support in other ways throughout the
year.
Outstanding Advisory Team
This
award recognizes the advisory teams that give extraordinary support and
guidance to the collegiate chapters they advise.
Outstanding House Corporation Board
This
award recognizes the house corporation boards that not only provide outstanding
facilities for the chapter, but also file reports on time, have open
communication with the chapter, are fiscally sound, and have a full board of
officers including President, Treasurer and Secretary. This may be presented to a board overseeing
a house or other type of accommodation.
Excellence in Communications
This
award recognizes the groups that consistently accept the responsibility of
entering calendar information and post-event summaries into e-Ops, make timely
updates to their websites and share newsletters and programming ideas with the
regional team.
