I apologize for the lack of updates the past week. I've been really sick with what I intially thought was a stomach virus but ended up being a sinus infection. I also have been busy preparing for college, which starts in a month.
Updates will start up again soon, and I will have a new layout up before long.

"World Wrestling Entertainment's annual "Tribute To The Troops" show from Iraq will air on NBC on December 20th at at 9PM. Chris Jericho, William Regal and CM Punk, Beth Phoenix and Brie Bella will be doing a media appearance in Washington DC on December 1st to promote the show. The WWE crew will be heading off to Iraq later that week to film the event."

RAW RESULTS

William Regal vs. Matt Hardy WWE Intercontinental Champion William Regal comes to the ring first, without Layla this week. Regal takes a mic and says the fact that a rap star received a better welcome than the new IC Champion says a lot about what's wrong with this country. He talks about Great Britian and respect. Out comes his opponent, the ECW Champion Matt Hardy.
Hardy and Regal start the match with a lot of counters and reversals. Regal dumps Hardy to the floor and kicks him in the face as he tries to get back in. They fight on the outside of the ring now. Regal trips him off the apron and throws him face first into the barrier. They keep fighting on the floor as the referee counts them both out. Lilian Garcia announces the result as Hardy and Regal keep fighting around the ring. WWE officials separate them as we get ready for another break.

On 11.05, Santino Marella beat William Regal in a IC match in Manheim, Germany. The same thing happend on 11.06 in Milan, Italy, but this time due to interference by Beth Phoenix.

WILLIAM REGAL WILL FACE SANTINO MARELLA NEXT WEEK FOR THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP

The match will take place on RAW at the Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester, England. I went to the venue's website for ticket information (which can be seen here) and it says that you have to call the venue for tickets. The number WWE.com lists is 0870 190 8000.

In order to determine who should receive an Intercontinental Championship opportunity, a Battle Royal was held between Cryme Tyme, Jamie Noble, Snitsky, William Regal and Priceless. Though he was in the ring with two prominent tag teams, Regal managed to be the last Superstar left in the ring, throwing Ted DiBiase over the top rope after the “Priceless” Superstar eliminated both of his tag team partners, Cody Rhodes & Manu. Fittingly, the 2008 King of the Ring will compete against Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella next week, in Regal’s homeland of the United Kingdom.

Batista nails a Spine buster and goes for the Batista Bomb. Batista nails it and pins Regal for the pinfall.Jericho and Batista have words. In comes Jericho now. Adamle says Jericho will start .... his mic fades off. Wow this is insane. Regal takes his time getting to his feet as Jericho yells. Jericho nails the Codebreaker on Regal for the easy pinfall."

If you want to vote for this match, your best bet is to wait until tonight's RAW when they'll show the numbers again. That way we can all know the correct number and you won't vote for something you don't want to vote for.
