1. Peter Parker lives in the Queens section of New York City
2. The electron microscope shown just before Peter gets bitten is made of plaster,  plywood, and  fibreglass and is concealing three 16 foot bronze centerpieces

14. In order to come up for the wardrobe for the high skool students, the costume   department sent disposable cameras to teachers in NYC and had them distribute  them among their students to take pictures of each other.

23. The origional set up for the kiss between MJ and Spider-man had MJ lean off  screen and she didn't actually have to kiss him. She did it anyway.

26. In the comics, the green Goblin origionally rode a broom-like rocket. the glider came later.

29. Willem Dafoe, who played Norman Osborn/the Green Goblin did all of his own stunts because he felt that much of the Green Goblin's performance would take   place in such scenes.
30. Spider-man is the first film in history to crack the $100 million mark in the US  in it's debut weekend.
31. Toby Maguire and Kristen Dunst have already signed on for two Spider-man    sequels
