| My classes have an order and rhythm to them. Typically each day begins in the same manner. I give miniquizes of 1 to 2 quiestions or review what happened the day before. Then I ask if there are any questions from homework or about what we have covered. I usually spend 15 mintues on questions unless there are none or there are a great deal of questions. From there I move on to the day's lesson. Students have time during the class to do practice problems and sometimes there is extra time to begin homework assignments. I use the class to increase their reponsibility in their own education. I also ask students to go home and to write down what they have learned today to help them to test themselves on what they have learned. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
