What do you think the best way to run a nation would be? What problems would be created in your perfect society? How does it differ from the current governemnt you live under?

Everyone has too many different view points on everything... the perfect government would have to find a way to allow ALL the different view points, but that's impossible because majority of them contradict one another. I do'nt know what my perfect society would be, kill off those who contradict viewpoints and leave those that can agree? lol. But then that wouldn't be good because... well... I'd get in a world of trouble if I couldn't be the most powerful! So, it differs from the government, because right now... Bush isn't killing us... he's getting people pissed at us to kill us for him... I think. I dunno, I just don't like the guy, he's not trustworthy. I believe would be a democracy in which every motion was passed by referendum. That's the only way to get a true reflection of the opinion of the populous. This would be far too time consuming and tedious, so I'm happy with most of what the British Govt. is right now. I can understand the attraction of it, especially for teenagers that are going through their "you can't tell me what to do" phase but it's simply not possible. It's in every animals nature to have picking orders. Humans are no exeption to that. Humans can't coexist without rules and regulations. We have never had a communist country that was truly communistic. They were all altered forms of it.

Russia, Cuba, North Korea. They're not (or were not) communist nations.

I do not say this out of despair , This is what I see and hear every day from many sources , I cannot lie and say "Some day we all shall come to peace and have a perfect government" that would only bring a false sense of security.

I would love to see a perfect government with all the world seeing eye to eye but as long as there are fools there is no hope for such things.

Ideally a government that takes care of the needs of all the people under it instead of just those who are more fortunate would be the perfect government.

Needs are as follows: Shelter, Health, Sustainance(Food and clean water).

Of course there would always be want for more.

Education is an important thing to me. And the freedom to be ones self and make your own decissions is also high on my list.

To me a perfect government would be one that considers Education the right of all people. Has no homelessness or rampant disease or starvation and allows it's citizens to be who they are without and considering them a part of society no matter their choice.

There really isn't a name for it as any government could actually work it into it. They just have to realize that it's the people that give them the rights and that without the people there would be no government. Edited by: livingfiktion at December 14, 2005, 11:32pm

In our species the closest we can come is the military based government which is pretty damn effective, you just have to give up some individual rights to make it work, but it does work well. A lot of "rights" people try to claim as such are nothing but those individuals vanity showing. "I deserve more...cause I'm special", etc. Freely give your populace shelter, food, water, protection, medical care, education, a worthwhile computer, etc. and have them work a job with a regular schedule. Luxury items (like TV's, cars, and shit) they have to work extra time to earn. Time off will be the biggest luxury in the perfect world. The worst jobs like sewer workers, or coal miners get the most time off per week, the longest vacations, work the shortest hours per day. You still have to have leaders, cause some people are too damn dumb to be turned loose on their own. The leaders should be people with foresight and planning abilities, and who can organize. Leaders should still take over the worst or most dangerous jobs at least one week a month to keep them in touch with the everyday workers. While giving the normal workers a break. To impose such a rule though would require a very ruthless regime to take absolute control of the populace, and then to treat them right and not abuse their powers like so many tyrants and despots have done in the past. If you are running a truly fair society which provides for its citizens basic needs and you have protestors kill them or ship them out. Because any dissendents who are getting the necessities to surive, and still causing trouble should be dealt with violently or cast out to survive on their own.
