"Immortal" Midwife, teacher, herbal healer, musician Lives with Connor MacLeod and John Clayton on Lorna Doone, one of the farms just outside of Edan |

Lady Katherine Anne Dixon of the Clan Keith was born in Aberdeen, Scotland on Aug 10, 1570. At the age of 16, she became involved with a Highlander by the name of Connor MacLeod, an Immortal who had come to Edinburgh after the death of his wife Heather. When she was killed by another Immortal, Connor attempted to teach her what she would have to know to survive, but Katherine refused to live by the sword. Amazingly enough, she survived, mainly due to her strong empathic abilities. Over the centuries, Katherine became a highly skilled midwife, as well as developing her talents as a singer and musician. As as she traveled the world over, Katherine and Connor would link up again as often as they could so that they could renew the special bond of love and friendship that the two of them shared. But when Connor died the final death at the hands of his own kinsman, Duncan MacLeod, Katherine seemed to have lost her reason for living. Filled with despair and an overwhelming sense of loss, she ended up running for her life from another Immortal. She jumped over a pile of boxes in an alleyway, and to her surprise, landed in a cold river on the world of Edan, a place where life can begin anew for her. |

Connor MacLeod Katherine and Connor have been friends and lovers for over 400 years. When she thought he was dead, Katherine almost gave up on living herself. They are now reunited, their bound for each other stronger than ever. |
John Clayton After finding out that she was going to have a child, Katherine fled into the wilderness of Edan, ending up at a remote cove. There, she met and bounded with a man that had been raised by apes. She taught him to speak English, and that he was a man, not a gorilla.

Doireann Iseabail Dixon born Oct 5, 2001 Feeling lost and alone, Katherine turned to her old friends Duncan and Methos for solace right after she arrived on Edan, and little Doireann is the result. The primitive DNA tests that Dr Shepherd developed have since revealed her to the Duncan's child. |
Nara Ann Dixon born July 26, 2003 Katherine's second child was conceived during the special lightning storm caused by Rayden and Lavina. She was fathered by either Connor or John and so will be considered the child of both of them. |
