Title : Female Head and upper torso
Author : Bruce Lamming
Files : F02Head.dmz F02Torso.dmz

Description:

The head file has a dummy muscle in the Bone Surfaces layer that provides
additional displacement for the hair layer. This muscle should be
deactivated when exporting the head in skinned format, and activated when
exporting the hair. This muscle creates an additional displacement to the
sides and cheeks of the head, in order that the hair doesn't 'cling' to
tightly to the face.

The Lips, Eyebrows and Eyelid layers were also disabled for the skinned
export. These were exported separately in layered view. This results in
the skinned view requiring a lower resolution, while the specific items
have a high enough polygon resolution to provide for a sufficent level
of detail. It also simplifies texturing, since each individual component
can be textured as a whole.

The eyes are spheres with a radius of 0.50. They were placed using
the following translations:

  eye translate < -1.39, 6 * 0.64, 0.86> // right eye
  eye translate < -1.39, 6 * 0.64, -0.86> // left eye

The Torso also has a dummy muscle used to provide additional displacement
for the shirt. This muscle wraps around from the arms and across the front
of the chest. The shirt then lays on top of this extra muscle, and so
doesn't wrap as tightly to the actual body. This muscle should be
disabled for the skinned export. This dummy muscle is again in the Bone
Surfaces layer.

An additional hair strand layer was used to create the hair that is
laying across the shoulders.

Note that this particular torso has only been detailed for the upper
chest portion. Although some musculature information has been provided
for lower portions, they are not what I would consider a suitable
example
