| Page 16 KALENDAR November 14, 1975 NEWS RELEASE Opening November 25th at Hot Flash of America: �Hero Sandwich�, a show of paintings by DeMetrie Kabbaz. Mr. Kabbaz� show includes images taken from what he describes as a "popcorn/drug culture.� Male superstars from the American 1920�s to the present, including such favorites as Rudolph Valentino, Boris Karloff, Fred Astaire, Johnny Weismuller, Marlon Brando, James Dean, John F. Kennedy, Rudolf Nureyev, Jim Morrison, Mick Jagger and more are depicted in a personal and startling style. �I feel I�m paying homage to the men who have influenced so many of us through movies, music, magazines, all the media. We couldn�t escape.
