Description: Zoma seeks Cesia within Nadil's castle, only to be swept into a mirror and deposited right at Cesia's feet. Only, the Wind Witch doesn't seem to be herself, and she proves as much when she takes the Wind Staff and prepares to offer Zoma up as a sacrifice. The Wind Staff, bearing one of the Three Treasures inside, creates a power so great that it is felt over the entire land of Dusis, and only after Cesia, possessed of Black Cesia, sees herself bring harm to Zoma does she return to her normal self. Zoma, devoted to both Rath and Cesia, uses the powers given back to him by Rath long ago to transform himself into his true form, taking Cesia as his rider throughout Nadil's castle in search of the missing Rath.
Kitchel, Tintlet, Rim Kaana, and Ringleys find themselves in a desert somewhere in Kainaldia, seeking Transformation Water to stop the Revival Water threatening the imprisoned Dragon Knights. Rim Kaana's other half, Riru Riiru, shows up ready and willing to kill Rim to gain her full strength, and battle breaks out between them. Rim uses her newly gained Faerie powers to stop Riru, and Tintlet discovers the location of the Transformation Water within the tears of the demon. It's a race back to Nadil's castle, because within the prison, Thatz has already begun attempting to break down the walls. And beyond the walls is a barrier of nothing but potent and deadly Revival Water.
