Description: Things couldn't get worse. Nadil is shielded behind Rath, and more of Rath's dark past is revealed to Rune and Thatz. To their horror, their greatest problem is not Nadil, but in fact, Rath. Lying deep within Rath is the soul of the Demon Lord, and the only way to kill Nadil is to kill Rath. And, worse, Rath discovers at last that Lykouleon has been cursed and is dying, and he decides that everything can be solved with one simple action- his own death. But when Thatz refuses to allow that to happen, the only other way to keep from killing Rath is to surrender to Nadil and rethink their actions. Sadly, that's exactly what they're forced to do.
Kitchel, Tintlet, Zoma, and Ringleys, later joined by Rim Kaana, discover that the three Dragon Knights have been imprisoned within Nadil's castle, in the most dangerous jail imaginable. The group decides that they must do anything in their power to save them, and their only hope is a mysterious water that lies only Tintlet and Rim Kaana know about and can find. The group, minus Zoma, unify to try to find the Water of Transformation which is the sole salvation of the Dragon Knights imprisoned within the castle.
