Past Story: Bierrez and his companions scout an incredible tower, but unknown to them there is a rat working within Nadil's ranks and an all-out war is about to break out. Yokai attempt to overthrow Nadil and retrieve his ultimate prize, the mysterious girl named Cesia. When Bierrez discovers Cesia, plagued by a curse and powerless, he devotes himself to protecting her, only to realize she is much more than she seems and she will help him more then he can help her.
Past Story: Thatz hates work. So when Alfeegi wants him to train to be a knight, he refuses the idea and instead decides to hunt for the greatest treasure of all- a legendary treasure ruled over by the Spirit of Earth. Joined by Rath and Rune, Thatz finally finds means of summoning the great spirit, but a mistake occurs and all three are left in the merciless hold of the great Spirit of Fire.
The Dragon Capital seems peaceful. Both Rune and Thatz have returned safely, and Cesia and Kaistern shortly after. But things are not all that they seem. Lykouleon has eerily begun to bleed, and Alfeegi notes an unwellness in Kaistern. But all focus on such matters are dropped when Rath returns, and he doesn't quite seem to be himself...
