Use the following links to see the actual handouts I gave to my students, to help with the writing tasks involved in this class. Most of my students had little or no background in writing about film. The "Visual Close Reading" handout takes students through the initial process of how to do research on a visual text. The "Midterm" and "Final Paper" handouts focus more on how to organize ideas into an expository paper.
