HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE?

I have been in the disc jockey business since 1994. I've entertained well over one thousand weddings and events during my career.

WHAT TYPES OF EVENTS DO YOU BOOK?

Nearly all my functions are weddings; however, I also perform events such as birthdays and anniversaries, formals, corporate events and holiday parties, and commitment ceremonies. I specialize in elegant and upscale affairs held at hotels, country clubs, and historic mansions. I've also DJ'd at gun clubs, granges, private homes and senior centers! Please note that I am not only a disc jockey service

WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER?

I cover all of the Greater Puget Sound Area. We also include Eastern Washington and parts of the Pacific Northwest. I've also driven to Oregon and quite a few times for events! Please note, there may be additional fees for driving farther from home.

WHO WILL BE THE DISC JOCKEY AT MY EVENT?

DJWILLIIE owner/operator, or a fine DJ of his choice (sometimes picked based on your musical preference). All DJs other than Adam are trusted because they have equal or greater experience than Adam and will still do exactly as you wish!

HOW EXTENSIVE IS YOUR MUSIC LIBRARY?

My CDs cover music from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s Salsa, mrengue, duranguense, Rock, pop, big band era through the current hits of today. The standard play list consists of over 6,000 titles that I bring to every event. I also have access to over 20,000 titles in my music library. Since I don't have enough space to physically bring my entire music library to each event, I require that any requests not on the standard play list be submitted at least two weeks prior to your event. That gives me enough time to research my library and pull the music. I always give you the option to bring some of your own CDs to the event, provided no explicit lyrics are included.

DO YOU PROVIDE PARTY PROPS?

I do use party props upon requests such as small children birthday parties.

CAN YOU PROVIDE REFERENCES?

Yes I can. I provide references from recent clients by request. My reference list is updated weekly to ensure that the list stays current. Please e-mail us or call us to receive your list.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE OF OUR EVENT DATE DO YOU ACCEPT BOOKING REQUESTS?

In most cases, clients submit their request within 12 months in advance of their date. Most clients have their date, time, and location firmed up within a year from their event date. I'm proud to offer a discount to clients who book me at least one year in advance. If you are currently undecided about your event date, times, or location, then my website also acts as an online brochure, packed with useful information about my company and its services.

HOW DO YOU DETERMINE YOUR PRICING?

Each function is treated as a package. There are many factors that determine package pricing. These factors include my many years of extensive experience in the wedding industry, consultations, set-up and break-down of my system, travel, extra equipment for ceremonies and cocktail hours, and much more.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE BOOKING PACKET?

The booking packet includes the booking agreement, planner form, and ideas for songs based on your specific needs. Please fill out this online reservation form reserve your date or to set up your initial consultation to reserve your date.

CAN WE MEET OUR DISC JOCKEY IN ADVANCE?

Prospective clients are free to schedule in-person consultations with me to discuss their event before signing any contract. If you are unable to stop by in person, then we can either have a phone consultation, I can meet you in a neutral location or even come to your house. For obvious reasons, I do not allow prospective clients to sit in on events. This is disrespectful to my clients because it is their event, and it is generally frowned upon in the disc jockey community.

DO YOU CARRY FULL INSURANCE?

I carry a $19,000 FULL policy. More and more catering halls and hotels are requiring that DJ services and bands carry liability insurance for weddings and other events. I also require that the event venue carry insurance.

CAN YOU PROVIDE MUSIC IF THE CEREMONY AND/OR COCKTAIL HOUR IS AT A DIFFERENT ROOM, FLOOR, OR LOCATION THAN THE RECEPTION?

Yes I can. I offer a remote set-up as an optional service that is already included in the price of all packages. The remote set-up consists of a completely separate full sound system. If your ceremony and/or cocktail location is different from that of the reception, then please choose this option if you want me to provide music.

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT AND BOOKING TERMS?

In order to book our services, full payment or a minimum of $100.00 deposit (installment) must accompany your signed contract. For installment options, your balance is due the day of your event. If the same date/time period is requested by more than one client, then bookings are based on the date I receive the signed contract and payment. We accept checks, certified checks, money orders, or cash for payment; however.

When you submit your deposit to me.

CAN YOU HOLD MY DATE FOR ME?

Once I have received the signed agreement and the deposit has been paid.

WHAT IS YOUR OVERTIME POLICY?

If you wish to extend the length of your event before signing and returning your contract, then we can adjust the times and e-mail you a revised contract. If you want to extend the length of your event after signing and returning your contract, then the overtime rule goes into effect. The overtime rate is $75.00 per hour, and must be paid in cash to your disc jockey prior to the start of the overtime
