Soo many of us have been waiting for this - so here it is.

Krispy Kreme will open its first doughnut and coffee shop outside North America on
Thursday 19th June 2003.

If you think you are the biggest Krispy Kreme Friend, come and show us how big by
coming to the opening. The first dozen customers will win Krispy Kreme goodies
packs including a limited edition Krispy Kreme Goodie Pack.

The HOT LIGHT will be turned on and the doors will be opened at sunrise!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you would like to some with me please email me @: [email protected]
(with the subject: I'm coming to KKD opening with DEREK!) with your
contact details ASAP so I know and so you can ask your parents [or not ;)] etc..

Here's some breif details about how we will be getting there etc:
We'd have to be ON a train headed towards Penrith by 11-11:30pm on the
18th of June 2003 in order to arrive in Penrith a just after midnight. When we get
there we will walk to the new Krispy Kreme Doughnut and Coffee shop and then
wait outside (in line) until sunrise, when the HOT LIGHT turns on and the doors open.
For those of you who want to come that still goto school then this IS on a school night,
BUT, depending on where you goto school, you SHOULD be able to make it back to
school by recess time (eg. about 10:30-11:00am) at the lastest.

If you don't have tests or anything on that day I don't see why you wouldn't want to come
with me seeing as it will only mean A COUPLE of HOURS of school.. I will be one of the
best experiences of your life! Promised!!
Look for: THE HOT LIGHT
IF you happen do go to one of the Krispy Kreme stores (mentioned near the top of this page) let me know.
If you need directions of anything I can't explain them to you or email you a map. If you go at all,
LET ME KNOW.. please. Even if I don't want to make and order. I just like knowing if people are going! :)

The following information is totally irrelevant (why don't I just delete it then? Hmm.):

If anyone is planning on going to Penrith/Liverpool ANYTIME.. Please tell me! Because I'll pay you
up front to get me some Krispy Kremes from the Krispy Kreme store at Panthers Place
on Mulgoa Road in Penrith (or at Liverpool Megacenta 2-20 Orange Grove Road
Cumberland Highway)  Mulgoa Road is a main drag in Penrith, just as you get off the
freeway, so its pretty damn hard to miss the HUGE Krispy Kreme signs and store!
Please email me, ring me, sms me, chat to me if you are going! I would REALLY
appriciate it! :)

Almost a year after the first opening if a Krispy Kreme store in Australia, Krispy Kreme is now
opening another store in Wynyard (Sydney CBD)!
Here are the details:

Opening on 26th May 2004.

Sydney NSW 2000

AND

July 2004 - Mascot
7 Ross Smith Drive

I WILL be @ the Wynyard Store the FIRST weekend it is open, and if you'd like to come with me I'll let u know times etc.

Those of you who can make it are extremely lucky because the opening of a Krispy Kreme
store is one of the most exciting experiences ever!
Sydney Airport
International Terminal
Mascot NSW
Opened on the 13th of May 2004.
Store Locations (Past Openings):
17th September 2004 - I received a letter in the mail yesterday from Krispy Kreme! Inside it had a card
wishing me a happy birthday and a business card-sized card which entitles me to a free box of Krispy
Kreme's before 2006. It's not even October yet (my birthday is on the 23rd October 1986).. KKDs are mighty
quick at wanting to wish people a happy birthday! Go KKDs!! [I have sooo many free boxes to my name now,
it's quite funny!]

7th July 2004 - The opening of the Krispy Kreme store at the Sydney Domestic Airport (7 Ross Smith
Drive, Mascot)
was my first Krispy Kreme opening experience, and I can tell you is was so exiting! If
you've never been to an opening of a Krispy Kreme store, you haven't lived yet! The opening of the store
at the airport was an extra special one; because of the planes always flying in and out of the airport.

I left, bound for the airport, at around 4:30am. I picked up my friends and I leisurely drove to the store.
We got there at about 5:50am. Still dark. We then got out and joined the line of people waiting to enter
the brand new store. Some of which camped out over night (I wish I could have!) Those people told us
that we were the 11th, 12th, and 13th people there. Note: The first dozen in the store win prizes such as
free doughnut vouchers, money to donate to charity etc etc. I was also told that the first person through
the wins a years supply of
Krispy Kreme's (52 week = 52 boxes). Soo I parked the car in the drive-thru line
(just before speakerbox) and walked back to the line of people. This way; both my friends win something
(because they're the first dozen through) and so do I.

The Krispy Kreme store was cooking doughnuts all night but they didn't turn the HOTLIGHT on until sunrise.
As soon as it did the store was open for business; I drove through the drive-thru and got my
YEARS SUPPLY
OF KRISPY KREMES
:)  and my friends got 10 (or so) buy one get one free KKDs vouchers, along with a
$252 donation card to donate to a charity of their choice. You can claim that back on tax right? Because I
told them that charity donations were tax-deductable and they were dumbfounded!

The experience was something
NOT to be missed! Photos will be up soon!

If you'd like to come to the next Krispy Kreme opening (most likely to be even closer to the Northern Beaches
than the Wynyard store) just email/sms/MSN/call me and let me know and I'll put you down on the list :D

Peace out Krispy Kreme Fans!
