The September, 2002 Display

The East Shore Area Library is located in Colonial Park, PA.  The Library is behind the Colonial Park Mall.  Go to www.dcls.org for more information and Library hours.

I will be at the Library display on Thusday evenings from 6:30PM to 9PM.  Please visit and I will hand you any coins you want to see up close.  I will have several reference books along and you can look up information about coins you may have.

Featured in this display:
Top Shelf - US coins, an example of every coin denomination and each State Quarter.  Many US Mint collector product are on display
Middle Shelf - The Euro - Examples of coins from before the Euro and a big selection of the newest coins in the world, the Euro.
Bottom Shelf - Odd and Curious Money, now called Traditional Money.  See Chinese Sycee and Swedish Plate Money.  Thrill to the sight of Dog Tooth Money, Fish Hook Money and Tiger Tongue Money.  Take the World Coin Quiz.  If you have the best answers, I will award you a silver Dollar.  Your choice of a Morgan or Peace Dollar.
