Krause's Standard catalog of World Coins from 1801 to 1995 is 2,150 pages long.  It covers all the coins of all the countries in the world.  The list starts with Afghanistan and ends with Zimbabwe.  Among those pages, the coins of Germany and the German States (who issued their own coins in the 19th century) cover an amazing 160 pages!  (By comparison the coins of Great Britain, issued during the same period take just 27 pages to cover.)  Collecting German Coins is particularly fascinating.  From the wonderful images on the German States' coins to the dramatic art on the coins of the Weimar Republic (1919 to 1933) German coins are great fun to collect.
GERMANY COINS,
AND BOY ARE THERE A LOT OF
DIFFERENT ONES!
My 1995 Krause catalog list 61 German States starting with Aachen and ending with Wurzburg.
Be sure to look in the display for the 1704 siege klippe from the Free City of Ulm (in southern Germany). It's neat, it's square!
