It even has a scripting language to script the image editing process. I've tried it and I find it to be very good. However, the user interface is a bit tricky and takes some time getting used to. It is the PhotoShop equivalent for Linux. However, this program has been ported to other operating systems including Windows. If you have Windows 95 or NT and would like to have the Windows 98/ME/2000 version of Paint, you're in luck.
