| David Hasselhoff played MIcheal Knight. he was born in Baltimore, Maryland. Before Knight Rider, David had a guest role on a po;ce story and starred in the sit-com Semi-Tough which only lasted four episodes. David then landed the role of Snapper Foster on the soap The Young And The Restless. Soap fans didn't like him at first because he was a replacement for a previos actor but they soon grew to love him. David grew tired of the world of soap operas and was looking to break into prime time televios. KNight Rider was the break he was looking for. He got the role of Micheal Knight through a chance encounter on an airplance with NBC president Brandon Tarikoff. David is happy that he can raise the sprits of sick children by them just recognizing hiim as the KNight Rider. After Knight Rider, David launched a successful career in Europe and became the most watched man in the world as life guard Mitch Buchannon doe to the huge sucess of Bywatch.
