The 2001
Season was the first in Major League Lacrosse action. John Grant was featured as a starter and
“super star” at attack. The
University of Delaware alum proved he cannot only dominate in the box, but out
in the field as well. Trailing
teammate Ryan Powell in most categories, the Canadian outscored many of the best
players in the game. Occasionally
having an off game, Grant would still bounce back and lead the Rattlers to a
post season bid in the first season.
