When i started i used only a few items found around the house.
1.3 soda bottle caps
2.a cork
3.a glass spherical thing
4.two toothpicks
arrange them like this.
when all of the materials have been set up i lit the toothpicks once, blew them out, then lit them again.I figure that the carbon needed to be heated up again so it could ionize easier. Then i set the timer for 15 seconds because if you leave the plasma ball in long enough it could explode the microwave. Then i put the glass thing right over the lit toothpicks and on top of the pop bottle lids.
Then i shut the door and turned it on. Almost immediatly this happened.
no this is not a light in the microwave or the flash from my camera. It is a ball of ionized carbon in the form of plasma. it emits a loud buzzing noise and it seems to be atracted to the microwaves magnetron because if floats toward it in the glass sphere.sometimes it is a different color in this case yellow but I have gotten blue and white. don't try this at home it could seriously melt your face off.
