Love the 80's? Hell, I know I do. Which is why I put together an extensive 2-CD, 36 track, 163 minute compliation of the best pop/rock songs from the decade we all love. I haven't exactly been actively selling or advertising these CDs, but my five friends who I gave copies to all say they loved 'em. And frankly, so do I. I spent nearly 10 hours one each disk, which includes track selection, volume normalizing, bitrate normalizing, id3-tag inputting (so the titles show up in on your mp3 or car stereo). Each CD comes with a pretty CD label, a jewel case, and a nifty jacket insert, with the track listings for both CDs. I'm a radio DJ, so I know all about flow - and believe me, the track listing is not only fantastic ballads you love, or forgot, but they all flow seamlessly into each other.
I'm not going to tell you what tracks are on the CDs... as you might just go make it yourself - even though you wouldn't be able to fit them all one CD, as I had to utilize some crossfading tricks etc. But, what I can give you is this 6-minute audio trailer for the CD set. And with the exception of "Love Shack" all songs featured in this very cool sounding remix of the entire decade, are also featured on one of the two discs. |
