12/20/01: "GET UR FREAK ON"

     I love Missy Elliot.

     The past 2 days have been boring. I'm done with X-mas shopping. :Whew:

     Out of nowhere I got an E-mail from Trip. He was searching for peeps to go out with tonight. I don't see him very often (say 6 months) and he means alot to me. So of course I'm going to jump on a chance to hang out with him!

   Get yo freak on! Get yo freak on!!!...

12/18/01: "NOW I'M JUST BEING LAZY"

     Neglect...is that a sign of true love? If that's the case then i guess i REALLY love this old site here. Then again i never really made any promises.

     Here's how the weekend broke down:

     Friday I popped over to Chris, Justin and Cory's. They were having a "get together"...NOT a party. I've always been confused about that. Where is the line drawn and when does a get together become a party, and better yet when does a party become a HAPPENING? Well, regardless of semantics, it was pretty fun and i got to hang out with Chris in his room and spend some quality time with him and listen to some good music. As much as i bitch and complain i do love those guys, always will. I left around 2:20 and was really hungry. Thank God and Allah and Buddah and whoever else, Jerusalam was open. This just happens to be one of my favorite resturants in the whole wide world and they are open 'till 4 in the morning. Good eats were had. I think if i'm ever on death row, my last meal will be Jerusalam.

     Saturday I had a pleasant lunch with Nicole (b-friend Andy in tow-he's so darn cute!), Lisa and Melinda. MELINDA!! Holy cow, i haven't seen her in so long and she never can make it out cause she has a kid. But it was so nice to see her. We had lunch at Casa Bontia. Nicole wanted to take Andy there seeing as he's an out of stater. I don't think This Old Casa made a big impression on him. Who doesn't like the smell of mildew while eating a crappy mexican dinner? Saturday night I went to my brother in law's brother's (Milo) suprise 30th birthday party. I think i shocked everyone by actually showing up to a family function. But, Milo is very coll, i've always liked him so i thought it'd be nice to show up. I was supposed to go out with Chrostopher after but we got a suprise snowstorm and the roads were bad, so i cancelled with Chrostopher and rented Tom Cats and Final Fantasy. and called it a night. (DAMNIT! I need to return Final Fantasy...fuck!)

     Sunday I woke up early and did some Christmas shopping and had lunch by myself. (I need to do something about that, perhaps I should ask Santa for a boyfriend for Christmas) Hung out at Mom and Dad's, then headed out to have coffee with Jhames at this coffee shop that is a magnet for every gay man in Denver. Then back to Mom and Dad's to help Mom move some stuff. Then...I went to what may have been the coolest chrismas party known to man. Chrostopher's friend Heather is lucky enough to live in a giant mansion with her friend Peter. Heather threw the house party of all house parties! There is way too much to tell about said party but it was, and i never use this word...FABULOUS!

     I've discovered the joy of shopping online, and who doesn't love getting packages in the mail!?

12/13/01: "SO MUCH TO CATCH UP!!!"

     No internet access for a week, ack! I'm soooo not loving Qwest right now. This morning i had 78 emails to sort through, luckily over half were spam. Most of them were debt consolidation offers...ahhhh, the holidays!

     Turns out there was conflicting information about dj Rap, so we ended up not going. However, we did go see Deep Dish on friday. First i had my office's Christmas party, that in itself was a comedic endevour. then i headed to Vinyl with Chrostopher and the line to get in was HUGE. I've never, ever...EVER have seen a line like that at that club. then the cover was 15 bucks. but it was all worth it. Deep Dish kicked ass, so the freezing and cover were well worth it.

     Saturday i came into work with my boss and we hammered out another ad for another magazine. He was very happy with my work and gave me 2 tickets to the Bronco/Seahawks game Sunday night. (the new stadium is really nice-btw)I headed home worked some more on some other ads and then had a quick "3S's" (Shit, Shower and Shave) before heading out to Comedy Works with Nicole, Lisa and Lynette. We had 5 dollar ticket coupons so it wasn't a bank breaker this time. And the headlining comedian was really good too. Then I headed back out with Christopher and Chad to a "Disco Christmas Party" (don't ask) it was interesting, I didnt' know anyone there though. Then we went to 60 South for R&B/Hip Hop night, or Booty Shaker Night as I like to call it. The dj was off the hook too, we danced up quite a storm! Ain't nothin tootie fruity, get on the floor if you got that booty!

   Woke up and went to Mom and Dad's for Breakfast and ended up hanging out there all day. My Dad and I had a long discussion about the kid's these days. Yup, that's right, I'm now oficially OLD! And we talked about low gas prices. (My dad has also now jumped on my Oil Conspiracy bandwagon!) I took my 15 year old neice to the Bronco game with me, we actually had alot of fun and it was a pretty good game too. I missed the X-Files though and forgot to tape it...D'Oh!

     So now I'm trying to figure out my Christmas shopping budget. I know it's a tight year for everyone this year, so i'm now oficially saying this:
                                      DO NOT GET ME A CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!!
   Now that I have that out of the way, I think i know what I'm getting everyone, so shopping should be easy. Now...where to get the money?
