Happy New Year to all my fans, may the year 2007 be a Blessing for all.
Thank you for your continued support expressed in your e-mails and e-cards through the past last year, as I wrote in reply to your well wishes, your support has been overwhelming and deeply touching.
To answer your questions of when I'll be back touring etc.: For medical reasons I'll still be on hiatus for for the remainder of 2007 as well till my team of Doctors give me the thumbs up to resume. With that being said a major comeback is in the works with my record label "Wild Oats Records" and I, so that's the best I can release to you at this time, just know I'll be back and I can't wait as it's going to be GREAT to be performing again!

MUSIC AND A MOVIE; I had the best time ever with a packed house of my great fans from Rochester and the surrounding area choosing the earlier show that highlighted my personal appearance at the Chateau Theatre in Rochester, MN. on opening night of the "Dukes of Hazzard" movie.

IT WAS FANFARE in Minnesota during my concert on August 21, 2005 at the Steele County Fair in Owatonna, MN. (Minnesota's largest county fair and the nations 80th largest county fair)when MO. based Nashville recording artist Steven Hammontree who's on my debut cd Breakin' Loose with me, was my special guest star(photo's can be found under Dotty Peterson and Mustang Heart musicians photo album link to your left)

GIFT OF GIVING: My band and I were deeply touched by our concert to benefit the Steele County Toys for Tots on Nov. 19, 2005, once again giving of the heart always prevails and many Steele County children will enjoy a Merry Christmas through the giving of others.
******************************

IT WAS LIKE A SCRIPT right out of a Christmas story complete with soft snow that began falling around 6:00pm that made the evening all that more magical on Nov. 30, 2005 at the Jesse James Lanes in Northfield, MN. to benefit the Rice county Marine Corp Toys for Tots.
Speaking for myself, the evening began with my arrival as the celebrity bowler with my transportation provided by Star Limousine out of Rochester, MN. with every last detail taken care of as only Star Limousine can do.
Upon my arrival inside I was greeted with smiles and the room was bursting with excitement, there were great raffle prises to be had all evening while bowling, with all collected proceeds of the entire evening going to toys for tots and I'm so proud to say the goal for the evening was surpassed due to a packed house of generous folks in attendance opening their hearts, having a blast while doing so and all for the sake of the children.
I will never forget all the laughter, broad smiles and well wishes galore as this night we all truly felt like kids! I was in awe as I took it all in and again now as I fondly reflect back.
So many thanks to all my loyal fans who turned out to support my charity along with new folks I had the great pleasure in meeting of whom many waved goodbye to me as my limousine drove away...it's amazing how great things can be accomplished when we all come together.

*CONGRATS!! Karen Cutting of Byron, MN. winner of the Las Vegas Trip*

April 24, 2006 Press Release Insert:
Saturday April 22, 2006 was the setting in the lobby of the Four Seasons Centre in Owatonna that initially was to be Nashville recording artist Dotty Peterson's much anticipated concert with world renown ELVIS tribute artist Rick Dunham from Springfield, Ill. opening, sadly this concert had to be cancelled due to medical reasons that KOWZ was reporting the last few days prior , however Dotty wanted the Las Vegas Trip to still be raffled away to one of her devoted fans, so the choice was left up to the ticket holders the days prior if they wanted a cash refund or continue on for a chance to win the 3 day 2 night for two air/hotel to the all exclusive Plaza Las Vegas Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas(courtesy of Four Seasons Travel in Cannon Falls) that would be determined at 7:30pm in the lobby, the time that would had been the beginning time of Dotty's concert.
As fans gathered, some sitting, all getting to know one another, expressing well wishes for their country singer for a speedy recovery, the excitement also grew to who would be going to Las Vegas the weekend of June 23-25 2006.
The moment arrived and the winning ticket stub number belonged to Karen Cutting of Byron, MN. happily receiving the trip voucher from Dotty Peterson to an applause of what for a bit over an hour became a quaint circle of new found friends bonded together by the mutual desire to see a local celebrity perform, Karen and her husband John are excited about going to Las Vegas, as Karen said with a broad smile"my birthday is the weekend before, so this will be fun".
Dotty is taking the duration of 2006 off to spend time with her family with trips planned to Disney Land in California, London England and an upper Michigan get a way with her husband.
As the evening unfolded with hugs, Dotty vowed "to be back performing with her band next year" as Steve Shroht mgr. of the Four Seasons Centre said; "Dotty is welcomed back here anytime" and with this warmth that could be felt in the lobby of the Four Seasons Centre, there's no doubt Dotty's fans will be lining up for her anticipated return.
