Luke's Baby Picture!!!

Here's the scoop on the delivery!

Jill's notified me at work that her water had broken on August 22nd, around 9:00am. We then went to the Dr.'s office to have them check things out. Around noon they sent us off for a few hours and told us to check in at the hospital around 4pm . Per the machines at the Dr.'s office, Jill was having contractions, but she could not feel them. We checked in at 4pm (true to nature, Jill was on the phone at this time helping her real estate clients) but couldn't get into a room until 5pm. Evidently they were overbooked!

Once we got settled in, they gave Jill some medication to help her dilate. Around 10pm, she was starting to feel the contractions and the Dr gave her some pain medication. At around 2am, the pains really started to kick in so they proceeded with the epideral. Around 4:30-5am, Luke was preparing to see the world. At 5:57am, Luke entered the world, and yes, Dad did cut the umbilical chord.
