Eric Moody began his radio career in 2002 at his high school, Hinsdale Central. It began as a half hour show during his lunch period with two other friends. He was then off the air until 2004, when his broadcasts on WHSD resumed. This time, however, he had an hour and a half-long show on Friday mornings with Adil Minocherhomjee. The show's musical selection had no rhyme or reason, perhaps the reason that WHSD decided not to bring him back for the second semester. He returned triumphantly to the airwaves in 2006 at his current home on WSUM, the student radio station at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His first semester on WSUM was spent on "The Time Warp," a show with the original concept of playing a mix of 80's music and modern dance. Deciding to abandon the 80's before the show began, Eric had a show that was clearly still evolving. His eclectic mix of dance music from around the world was drawing listeners, but he knew that to truly succeed he would have to focus his efforts on his true favorite genre of those he was currently playing - house. It was house that first drew him into electronic dance music, and it was house that would grow to dominate the second incarnation of his radio show on WSUM.
