Missy Chrissy began her career in Prince George, BC. With a set of two turn tables from Value Village, an old mixer with only 2 channels and a broken crossfader. After attending �Frostee 4� in Vancouver, watching the talents of leading lady, Dj Rap, she knew that dj-ing what she wanted to do. So with 6 drum and bass records and two unmatched turntables (literally), Missy Chrissy slowly started to learn the ropes. After a few months of playing drum and bass she decided to change up styles, by moving into house music and speed garage. That is when she was noticed by local promoters, when Missy Chrissy played in the Vinylution �Wax Wars� competition, coming in 4th place out of 15 local Dj�s. By the end of the night, Missy was a resident dj with a local rave company �Capital Sound�. After playing several Capital Sound raves, along with several Vinylution Gatherings, she entered another DJ competition in 2002, where she placed 3rd overall (out of 20 local dj�s) and was the only female DJ in the competition. Being booked for many of the local Prince George raves and club events, she gained experience and knowledge on extremely large soundsystems, playing on 3 turntables live and managing to work the crowd of 150 to 800 people throughout her sets. Her style has always included an amazing mix of Breakbeats to progressive house, to Trance and Speed Garage. Her stage presence and exceptional talent create captivating sets, which keep the crowds at her fingertips. In 2003, Missy Chrissy began her own promtions company �Missy Producitons�, after years of participation with local promoters. Missy Chrissy�s company was one of the leading rave companies in Prince George, with resident Dj�s such as Grooverobber, Lando, Monte Martens, Hush and Sven. After the release of her CD �Broken�, people were buzzing. Missy Chrissy was contacted by Flipside Dj's in London, England to join the renound international Female DJ agengy, run by the UK's hottest new talent, Miss Behavin' (who was recently seen in Mixmag on a two page spread advertizing headphones and the Flipside Dj's logo!) After 4 years in the Prince George scene, it was time to move back to her hometown of Vancouver, BC. Missy Chrissy introduced herself to the Vancouver scene by hosting her own Missy Productions stage at Apex Project 2004. Missy is still passionately involved in many Vancouver events through promotions and her DJ'ing. With a driving passion and talent for music, this year has presented Chrissy with some amazing oportunities accross Western Canada. Missy Chrissy recently toured Calgary with the world's most renound breakbeat talent Aquasky, and North America's #1 techno talent, Josh the Funky 1. Missy will also be hosting another Missy Productions stage at Apex 2005, with an all female dj lineup composed of only the best female talent around. There is planning in the works for a Flipside Dj's "Charlyz Angels Tour" later this year, with Miss Behavin', Sophie Sugar and Missy Chrissy touring accross Canada's westcoast to gain international promotion for Flipside Dj's. This is the stepping stone to international exposure.

What's her ultimate goal? "To be the female Oakenfold."
