BERMUDA'S DEAD


And here are the clues.

Several years ago, "Weird Al" Yankovic's drummer, Jon "Bermuda" Schwartz died and was replaced with a double. Since then, Al & the band have provided clues about Jon's death.

Dare to be Stupid

1. The album title's initials, D.T.B.S. also stand for "Died, that 'Bermuda' Schwartz"

Polka Party

2. The album title's initials, P.P. also stand for "Percussionist Perished"

UHF
-
3. "UHF", the title track, is the 6th song on the album. 6 upside down is 9, providing a clue to look at the cover.
4. Upside down, the letters UHF on the cover look like JHN. The 2nd letter is wrong. Ghandi II, a song about violent death, is the 2nd song on the album.

Off the Deep End

5. On the back cover, Jon is the only one touching the water's surface, signifying that Jon is "in heaven".Here's a Picture
6. The "blurry" Al & band photo shows the "regular" image and the "ghost" image of each band member, with the exception of Bermuda, where only his ghost image is shown. (thanks to Tom Foster)
7. In the song "Polka Your Eyes Out", the segment immediatly after Jon's drum solo is "I Miss You Much".

The Food Album

8. The album title's initials, T.F.A. also stand for "Three Friends Alive". The forth friend, Bermuda, is dead.

Alapalooza

9. The album's title, "Alapalooza" stands for "Al, a pal loser".
10. On the front cover, below the picture is the phrase "No. This is NOT....". Upside down, the phrase is read as "JON si siyt on" or "Jon see Satan".
10. In the song "Young, Dumb & Ugly", Al spells out Trouble as "T-R-U-B-E-L", which stands for "Tried Reviving Unsuccessfully. Bermuda Ended Living".

11. The album title's initials, P.R. - A.I.T.B. also stand for "Percussionist R.I.P. - and it's that Bermuda".

Bad Hair Day

12. The album title's initials, B.H.D. also stand for "Bermuda Has Died".
13. On the front cover, Al's right hand represents Al & the band as shown on the inside photo. The finger representing Jon is the only one not fully exposed.Here's a Picture
14. In the Al & band photo, Bermuda is the only one not touching the chair, signifying "he's separate (dead)".

Running with Scissors

15. On the front cover, Al's shadow looks like a gun. The handle of the gun points to the edge Jon's name in the band credits.

18. On the CD in the movie's hotel segment, all the other band members are wearing dark pants, while Jon is the only one wearing light pants. The band is wearing dark pants in mourning for Jon.
