Recording Notes: This was the best quality i've ever heard out of a mic recording.  This was at a weird hiatus of vh's taping policy.  For about 2 weeks they ended the option of taping.  So I worked at the show all morning lugging in vh's equipment.  I got to play around on ed's drums, matt's guitar, and sung into keith's microphone.  Cool day.  I also met and worked with Chris Bruno setting up the stage that day and he told me all about his new band called Georgia Avenue. It was ironic that I became a fan of theirs a few months later after hearing their music.  When I was setting up, I set my binaurals in the light stand about 5 feet from the left stack.  Then I ran 68 feet of cable under the bleachers to my seat which was about 50 feet away on the left side of the stage...then I patched that into my md recorder.  It was genius and sounds awesome.  The first three songs were going and I felt like a sheer genius.  Then out of nowhere the md deck started flaking out on me.  It would record for a minute then stop, I'd hit record again and it'd go for 2 minutes then stop.  So I never got a complete song after the first three songs.  I turned it off about an hour into the show because I was going to throw it against a wall otherwise.  The next day I started shopping for dats.  I've been spreading the first 3 songs as filler only.
