Recording Notes: Sounds excellent. The mix in the air was incredible. No worrying about echos like you have to in clubs. The only two very small problems are:
1) When i was taking the dat out of my recorder, the tape snapped. Luckily I found some audio splicing tape at radio shack and rigged it back together. However, the split was right at the beginning of the dat so it sounds a little muffled for the first 10 seconds of the first song.
2) Even though I had windscreens, when you tape w/ mics on the beach, there's bound to be a little wind noise every now and then. It's very faint and I can only hear it if i have earphones on.
Great show though. Seeing VACO in front of at least 20,000 people was incredible. I'm sure they'll be doing it more often soon though.
