After the important announcement from the gods of There, all the Chicken Little�s came out to say the sky was falling. There were interpretations ranging from There, Inc. going bankrupt to the company making new changes for our world to be more self-sustaining with a new platform. That evening there were a few chat sessions set up for discussing the future of There and almost all other meetings discussed these events also. Most people seem to share the plan of waiting it out, including the founding of the new �hell no, we wont go� club.
As the week ended, the Buccaneer�s Ball was a complete success, many people wanting to forget about the possibility of There�s demise and drink a gallon of grog and dance until morning. There also seems to be an increase in yard sales but this may just be a coincidence. Overall most people plan on sticking to their life and living it to its fullest while they can.
As the evening ended and I looked into the beautiful stars in the sky, I began to wonder about our place in this world of There. Are we truly participants, or simply guinea pigs?
Perhaps we will never really know, but I know I am here to enjoy all the hoverboarding, chatting, and fun that I can.
