The monthly LIT party for September is going to be on Friday, the 17th at 6:30 pm pacific. The theme is going to be a beach party by the fire pit in front of Icedoll�s beach house located at Tiki Bay 014, on Motu Motu Island. Festivities will include a DJ from www.RacketRadio.com and prizes, sponsored by the great designer and artist MaxSMoke777.
Recently I got the chance to meet MaxSMoke777 and see many of his great designs. There designing he says is truly his second favorite hobby, his first being a mod for a game called Unreal Tournament the he has been working on. (He also informed me he, and the programmers he works with, recently won a contest with their designs for this mod. �Yay� for him.)

MaxSMoke777 began developing upon his first day of arriving in There, for he came to the game to show his art from RL. There are 27 paintings total he has scanned and created into masterpieces you can hang on your There wall. As a true artist, he says he �paints his emotions as lines� and this is shown by the pure beauty you can find in each piece. About 2 years ago, he was very serious about his work, and wanted to adapt them to clothing and other 3D objects. Unfortunately it seems he has been so overwhelmed with new ideas to create that he has been unable to further these ideas. His paintings are bare with words; you must really seem them to enjoy them. They are very mesmerizing and mostly have a �tribal� feel to them.

Since arriving in There myself, I had noticed many animals from a donkey to camels. This always struck me and now I have found that MaxSMoke777 is their creator. From the big t-rex to the small cats and snakes, MaxSMoke777 refers to them all as his �babies�. His latest creations are the cows and vultures, which you can view along with his other menagerie of creatures at Duda Beach.

One of my favorite objects he has created is the horrid tornado. This item is built to snag an avatar and keep you from escaping. I ran into one of these a month or two ago and had a horrible time myself, and today I found that MaxSMoke777 had built it with this exact intent. Although, it did come in handy when a certain obnoxious newbie began doing flips and dancing right where we were setting out objects to look at. It was amusing watching his flip up in the air and struggle to escape.
MaxSMoke777 also creates quite a few pop-up objects like coo-coo clocks and jack in the boxes. He showed me his favorite one, being plants that have eyes and a mouth that pops open.

Well, you are lucky enough to win some of these great items if you come to the LIT Beach Party on Sept. 17th.
