There has been some reports of severe physical exhaustion after sustained exposure to the wonderfully berserk sounds of heavy metal rap concept performers Kizmet.
Following in the wake of their smash EP "Fate Destiny" (Synchopy Records) the boys are looking forward to a big year of touring and recording.
Described as powerful and hard-hitting, this quartet lift you up with a hammering set of chunky no nonsense heavy undertones of menacing guitar licks - this is not a band for technoboppers. It comes as no surprise that their branch of original surf/skate sounds blew the crowd away at a number of choice venues up and down the East Coast.
Ask any of the crowd at Rolling Rock Nightclub at Noosa or the throng that rock at this years Home Grown festival at Alexandra headlands skate park (2000 kids going berserk).
According to Brett Gadenne 22, vocalist for the unit:
"When we perform we like the audience to have as much fun as we do, if they can feel the music as we do then we know they will enjoy the show"
This simple philosophy will drive the band from success to success with a live act which is energetic, toe-tapping and head snapping.
"Soaring guitar sounds - thumping bass back beat - These musical performers will turn heads..."
Time Out
"...innovative and fresh performances - with an eye to the future of rock..."
Sunshine Coast Daily
Naively unaffected by the current rock and metal paradigms each member combines their own sounds to create a tight original style of music highlighted by a guitar sound which could best be described as an adrenalin pumped bungy jump into a live volcano.
Fans at the bands live shows can expect some sounds from the new EP "Fate Destiny", which features the strong harmonic elements in Dean Owen's drumming.
This EP is set to become a solid marker in Australian Rock Pop Heavy history from the sonic intensity and drive of track 1 "Hit Man" all the way through to the sweet pop guitar sounds of track 3 "To Live in this World" this recording is a musical roller coaster that buckles you in for the ride of your life.
