Deadly Sin ~ djl Above me always flies the darkest crow. It blocks the sun and covers all the sky. It's deepening the shadow - deeper now... The beast above me and its textured cry. This light shall shine to blind it; hold me dear. Yet blindness makes it stronger - stronger still. Attempting my escape, I run to sea And dive in water, deep with frozen chill. Although I've fled away from dark, dead beasts, The sea now swallows, numbing me within. This icy grip that yanks myself and feasts On life that slowly fades. Now I see my sin. And, at the end, a light appears to save... Your light floats down toward this cold, poor knave. Back - Home
