Waiting to ring
Waiting to be urged
Beyond a reasonable doubt
To scream its ugly tune
That somehow sounds
       So beautiful

So what if
       I'm scared to call you

So I don't
       And I won't
 
So there the phone sits in gorgeous
       Dead Calm

A force field surrounding it -
       Blocking the scream
