| Finally we turned left onto some other road and made our way toward Quehanna, PA. Found our way onto route 53 into Snow Shoe, PA, then finally down route 144 to Wingate (our starting point). Total trip was 12 hours, 150 miles, and one tank of gasoline.. |

| We backtracked on Bailey Ridge Road back to Rt. 144. Followed rt144 into Renovo, PA and bought lunch (Spam sandwiches and sardines, Little Debbies and fudge brownies for dessert). Then west on route 120 to Driftwood, PA. |
| Driftwood is famous for mustering the "Bucktails" during the Civil war. They even erected a monument in 1908. |
| We then took route 555 toward Benezette, PA. Just before the town, we spotted an elk. He was quite far off, but here's a picture of him. |
