FAQs

  1. Do you work for tips?
Yes and No. YES, I work for tips, but, NO, I do not solely work for tips alone (usually).
  2. Do you always ask for tips?
No, not usually. It's up to whomever I am hired by whether or not I may ask for tips. Normally I don't ask for tips at school events.
  3. Must I pay before or after a gig?
For Events or Large Parties I normally ask for the full amount before the gig. However, half the payment may be made at least 5 days before before and the other half directly afterwards. For Small Parties I accept payment up to the day of the gig.
  4. Do you also do regular DJing besides karaoke?
Unfortunately, not in the conventional style. DJ KARAOKE is mainly karaoke and we work separate from DJs. Because KJing and DJing tend to be two separate entities, the CDs we use are not the originals. However, if you provide your own music, DJing is an option.
  5. How do you accept payments?
DJ Karaoke takes cash or check. Keep in mind, there will be a $50 dollar fee for any bad checks.
  6. What do you consider to be the Inland Empire, and when does the driving fee take effect?
Any gig in Riverside or Moreno Valley will not be charged a driving fee. Anything beyond there, (i.e. Perris, Corona, Norco, San Bernardino) will be charged a $5 Driving Fee for every five miles beyond 20 from UCR. For example, if the location of the event was 25 miles away from UCR, then you would be charged a $5 driving fee. Likewise if the event was 35 miles away from UCR, then the you would be charaged a $15 Driving Fee. NOTE: DRIVING FEES ONLY APPLY TO HOLIDAY PRICES.
  7. Any gig outside of the Inland Empire will be charged a driving fee.

  8. If I booked you during the Holiday Prices, but the gig was after the dates listed, would I be charged full price?
No, as long as a minimum of 1/3 of the payment is made before the end of the Holdiay Prices.
