Marionettes are one of the lower class demons, they are plentiful and so are made to do the dirty work like get rid of Dante

Sin Scissors are also one of the lower class, they have to take form of physical objects to exist in the human world. The object they is a pair of large shear-type scissors.
They work in mostly the same way as the Marionettes and therefore can be killed in the same way. When fighting aim for the head. |

The cow head of the Death Scissors is their main body and should be aimed for when fighting it. Like the Sin Scissors they have to take this form to live in the human world.
Death Scissors are more powerful than the Sin Scissors and therefore can take a higher level of punishment to get rid of. |

Death Scythes are the highest ranking and most powerful of all the Sins, they are very similar to the Sin Scissors but carry a Scythe instead of Scissors.
They can take alot more damage than the other Sins and may take patience to kill but still should be hit on its head.. |

Phantom is a high class servant of the devil emperor. Phantom is the first really powerful devil Dante meets on his adventure.
Phantom has a hard shell and the only vulnerable parts he has are the mouth and his back when his tail is out. he can be attacked with any weapons. |

Shadows are devils made purely of dark magic, and are able to change their form with ease to virtually whatever they want (e.g. large spikes).
They cannot be killed with all conventional weapons, when in their wildcat form they must be attacked using projectiles (guns). When their power is low they show their core and this core can only be attacked with your swords or Ifrit. |

Blades are quite high class demons who take alot of damage due to the amount of armor they wear on their body.
Blades can be attacked with any weapons, but Dante must aim to destroy the armor before going for the soft vulnerable body underneath it. |

Beelzebubs are again low class devils and take the form of flies when in the human world.
They are quite easy to get rid of but shoot poisonous crap (literally) at Dante. A few hits from Alastor can easily bring these devils down. |
