How�z it going??
After many complaints I figured I should probably update my site again... I know, I�m bad... I�m just continuously doing stuff so I don�t allow myself the time to write to you guys.. SORRY!! :)
Life here is still great.. I�m still waiting for the U shaped graph the exchange coordinator was talking about: they said that u start the exchange in euphoria, then the slope goes down until you�re pretty much completely depressed, and then it goes back up again. Let�s see how that goes eh?
We just watched American Idol, it�s the greatest! The contestants are even worse than those in Holland! It�s hilarious! So that�s a good substitute for the Dutch Idols. Roos and I are even considering auditioning for the Canadian Idol, because they�re coming to Toronto soon.
Our meal plan started yesterday. It�s pretty good, though it could be better. But today our food was actually better than yesterday. We usually have a veggie option or a regular meat dish. Today we had lasagna with salad, wasn�t bad. And I had to do my Dining Hall chore for the first time today: I had to clean up the kitchen. Fun!! :) But it was all right because there were 5 of us so we were done in like 45 minutes (instead of the allocated 2 hours).
Last weekend was all right. Roos, Nina (see pics), Jessica (Australia) and I went to see a hockey game, U of T against Queen�s University. We actually left halfway through coz we were cold... It was okay, but there were hardly any people watching. And then you hear all these stories from Haroon who went to Montreal over the weekend and watched a huge hockeygame with thousands of screaming people... We�ll still have to wait for that experience I guess... But after the hockey game we went to have a drink somewhere, that was fun. All these exchange students, though most of them were from September so they already knew each other.
On Saturday I had my first dance class, hiphop. It was really awesome! The place is called El Mocambo, you can check it out here: www.elmocambo.ca. So we�re definitely going there again!
