Update December 25th 2003
Hey everyone! Well, another 8 days to go and then I'm actually off to Toronto. It's hard to grasp, but I'm really looking forward to it. Today I got the coolest Xmas present from my parents: a Canada survival kit. It contains medicine, towels, vitamin C, a bottle opener, etc. And it also contained a 2004 calender with pictures of my family and friends on each page and little pieces of writing. My Mum put it together, so sweet! So I'll definitely put that up above my bed...

Sukrit's in Dubai with his parents right now. He actually passed through Holland and was at Schiphol for like 4 hours, but couldn't get a visa. I had to work that day anyway, but it was a weird idea that he was in Holland. It's good that I'm gonna see him soon, otherwise it would've been so much worse. He's coming to Toronto on the 4th evening, so I can pick him up from Pearson International Airport.

Last weekend were Roos and Haroon's goodbye parties. So our leave is really coming up now. I'm not organizing a goodbye party, I'm saying goodbye to everyone seperately. I thought it'd take too much time to get everything organized and I didn't have a lot of time. Which maybe wasn't the best idea come to think about it, because it takes up a lot more time to do stuff with everyone separately. But it's still fun. It kinda sucks that I'm so busy with work. I have a 24 hrs per week contract at the Xmas section of the Bijenkorf (large warehouse in Amsterdam), but it turns out to be more like 40 hrs. Which doesn't leave a lot of time for me to do a lot apart from work. But I only have two day of work to go, Saturday and Sunday. Then just a couple of days to get traveller's checques and everything... And then I'm off. My next update will probably be written in Canada! So strange!

Anyway, I wish all of you guys a great Christmas and a happy 2004! Don't get too drunk (flashback to Millennium night - Oman), but party hard and ENJOY!
