I can't believe I haven't updated in such a long time! When I clicked on "Launch Yahoo Pagebuilder" I was almost getting weird long-lost-memory feelings! And yet it's only been two weeks. Time is weird here... On the one hand it flies faster than ever (I mean, come on, we're already like 2/3 through our semester or something!), and on the other hand the things that I did two days ago already seem like months away! Weird weird weird.. And now I'm getting yet another completely different perspective on time in Toronto, because I AM STAYING FOR ANOTHER SEMESTER!!! YAY! So for the summer I'm gonna be in Holland working my b*tt off, to save up for next semester that starts again in September. I have like a 4 month holiday, that's crazy! Reminds me of good old high school days in Oman.. Except then I didn't have to work full time during the holidays to earn some money..
Life here is crazy! We've all been having a somewhat anti-social couple of days/weeks due to tremendous amounts of tests and papers (I myself was blessed (?) with 3 papers and 1 test within the time span of 6 days).. I've finally finished one of the papers, God, I was stressing out sooo badly! I was trying to write about the whole school-shooting thing in Holland but I just got so stuck! And when I tried to contact the Teaching Assistant who's supposed to help out she just didn't reply.. So two days ago I decided to look for something else, and now I'm really proud of myself for writing 10.5 pages within two days! But the rest is yet to come...
By the way, it is formally established that our house is some sort of lunatic kama sutra residence. After Philippa's relatively inhibited sounds of sexual pleasure (don't know if I ever told you about it, but it occurred 3 (!!!) times on one day!), today it was Matt's girlfriend who exclamated: "Oh, God, yeah!" amidst a lot of groaning and screaming. Fortunately, I wasn't present in the house, it seems to be that Roos is the only one actually being exposed to this audio porn. Which naturally leads me to the disturbing question: is Roos suffering from sex-withdrawal-frustration auditory hallucinations? Hmm.. I'd rather not think about it...
Anyway, enough of my b*llsh*tt*ng, I have two other papers and a test to prepare for.. I'll get back to you guys after March 23rd, when my last paper is due... (which is, by the way, 2 days before my birthday in case you guys had forgotten - hint!!!)
