Ninja OCC

Many will say why bother having a Ninja when there is an Assassin OCC. I think
the assassin OCC is too unrealistic to be the true trained killer. Assassins are
more like hitmen, they will take out their foe, but are too clumsy about it. ie.
The troll assassin. Its powerful and deadly, and because of this, the player
doesn't play the character as an assassin. More like a mercenary with assassin
hand to hand skills.

Alignments:

No good, all others are possible.

Armour:

Cloth or soft leather. All other armour restricts movement too much, making
backflips impossible.

The Ninja is usually trained from birth. The ninja is considered a lowly
character by other oriental characters. This is because all oriental characters
believe it is honourable to fight fairly. The Ninja does not, and takes
advantage of every weakness of their foe. Ninjas can pass easily as theives or
assassins to gain entrance to guilds. Other characters will be impressed with
their skill. The Ninja will always try to conceal their skills. They will never
use a bladed weapon if hand to hand will suffice. This meaning, if attacked by
one or two characters that have bladed weapons, the Ninja will prefer to use
hand to hand, and disarm their oponents. A disarm attack is done as a called
shot, and the disarmed weapon can only be reclaimed after 1D4 rounds. Ninja's
will conceal all their weapons, at the most carrying a staff.

GM's note:

As a character can be awarded xp for playing in character, I beleave in the rule
that the character can lose xp for playing out of character. Thus if the Ninja
walks around a town or city with weapons strapped all over, or kills a beggar
with a sword rather than using hand to hand, the character will lose the amout
of xp that would be awarded for playing in character.

Attribute requirements:

IQ: 6, PS: 8, PE: 12, PP: 16.

OCC Skills:

Hand to hand (NINJA), WP Paired
Recognize weapon quality (+40%)

Racial Requirements:

Human, elf, half-elf, changeling, halfling

Elective skills:

2 and 5 WP's at level one, 3 at level four, 3 at level ten, 3 at level fourteen,
3 at level eighteen.

Secondary Skills:

6 at level one, 4 at level three, 4 at level twelve, 4 at level sixteen, 2 at
level nineteen.

Electives:

 WP's - Any except lance         Disguise (+10%);
 Pick Pockets (+10%)             Track (+8%)
 Use posion (+30%)               Prowl (+30%)

Secondary:

 Any, but the following have bonuses.

Back Flip:

For those that don't have Book III. There is a skill called tumbling. Within
this is a section called the BACK FLIP. Doing a back flip uses an attack, but
while your are doing the flip you are +5 dodge. Also, the attacker looses a
physical attack because the Ninja has flipped a fair distance.

Additional stuff:

The Ninja can't be run as part of a multiple OCC class that is a Wizard,
Warlock, or Diabolist. These also can't be picked up later after the Ninja has
reached the swap over amount of experience. With magic multiple OCC's, only
Summoner, Witch, and all Clergy are permitted. No mind mage, only the psionics
illusionist OCC is allowed.
