| There have been many races since we all turned 16 and got our licenses. First came the prelude, and there were many more to follow. Racing led to off-roading. Here is a history of the most famous races in the history of Brighton. |

| Prelude vs. Curb Trying to take a turn at no less than 170 mph in wet conditions, the prelude went head-on with a curb. The curb won hands down, dealing the prelude a blow it would never recover from. |
| CRX vs. Roadmaster The CRX took the checkered flag but the Roadmaster suprised many by proving itself to be worthy competition. |

| Civ(ic Si) vs. 300zx With tensions running high from the recent increase in the Zs boost it was time for a race. The civ and Z had their showdown on elmwood. The civ won and we have a video! can't figure out how to put it up yet. |

| Bravada Vs. Swamp The night before SATs Erik was offroading in the Brighton area. Details are vague but apperantly 'Smart Trak' isn't as smart as advertised.. Swamp won, 3-0. |

| Explorer Vs. Brighton High Having just cheated on his girlfriend, Alex was feeling on top of the world. With a car full of friends the Explorer headed for the High School for some donut action. A little over exuberance caused the Explorer to smack into a curb taking an Erik-sized chuck of out the Explorers wheel and Alexs self-esteem. Brighton 1, Explorer 0. |
| CRX vs. M3 This was more a battle of wits then one of horsepower. On a nice summer day the CRX decided to follow an M3 through some country roads. At an intersection (both a literal and figurative one) the M3 put on its left blinker and started to move. Following suit, the CRX put on its left blinker and proceeded to turn left. It became apperant after the CRX turned that it had been victim to the oldest trick in the book. The M3 had no intention of being followed and went straight with its blinker on. So who won you ask? The CRX won, CRX always wins. |
| XT6 vs. Swamp (Andy Vs. Himself) A day of off-roading in Henrietta with the XT6, a seemingly harmless idea, right?...WRONG! With the notion that the XT6 was an impregnable fortress of off-roading prowess; Andy decdided to ford a bottomless pit of mud, water and inherant doom. Much to everyones surprise, it got stuck. The following evening it was raped and pillaged by a bunch of Henrietta hooligans who remain at large to this day. Swamp triumphs again. |

| Sunbird vs. Camry An embaressing day for Camry owners everywhere. The flagship of Japanese engineering and technology was brutally defeated by a carburated Pontiac with one forward gear and a crazed Puerto Rican at the helm. Sunbird 1, Camry -Eleventy Billion. |
| Bravada Vs. Explorer With engines revving the Explorer was inched out by the Bravada. This was all done while Erik smoked a bowl with his hands and steered with his knee. The Bravada is quite a machine. |
